Petar Mladenovic

Petar Mladenović has started his music education at the age of five at Music School “Dr. Vojislav Vučković” in Niš in the class of prof. Svetlana Korunović, where he also completed his secondary music education.

He completed his academic studies in 2007. at the piano department of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, in the class of prof. Svetlana Bogino, and in 2009, he enrolled in doctor studies at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, in the class of prof. Aleksandar Serdar. 

At the same time he started working as a piano teacher at the High School of Music in Niš.

He has won numerous awards at National and International competitions (Serbia, Italy and France). He attended piano master classes with many eminent pianists and pedagogues: V. Оgarkov, Е. Indjić, N. Štarkman, D. Westfall, B. Kraljević, J. Banjac, P. Barnes, Aleksandar Serdar.

As a solist, he held concerts all over Serbia (Beograd, Subotica, Inđija, Šabac, Kragujevac, Zrenjanin, Novi Sad, Niš), and he had numerous notable performances with various chamber ensembles. 

He also has performed at many festivals: ŠOPEN-FEST, NIMUS, LEDAMUS, as well as at a numerous concert seasons of the “Nis Symphony Orchestra”, the Faculty of Arts in Nis and the “Nis Cultural Center”. He also performed as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra in Niš.

As a professor at the Music School, he has achieved exceptional pedagogical results in a very short time, and won many awards with his students, both in the country and abroad. Also, he has been often engaged as a member of the Competition jury of national competitions.

He is a member of the recently formed but already established quintet “Solisti di Sud”, whose founder is the famous Serbian violinist Jovan Bogosavljević, with whom he has performed dozens of concerts in Serbia and abroad (Germany, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro).
