Mihailo Samoran

After graduating from the “Josip Slavenski” Music School in the class of Prof. Predrag Stefanović, Mihailo Samoran graduated and received his DMA at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of Prof. Ante Grgin.

He attended master classes held by professors Jiří Hlaváč (Czech Republic), Michel Lethiec (France) and Alexander Neubauer (Austria), as well as the chamber music course held by the Vienna – Berlin ensemble, consisting of the soloists of the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras. Samoran is two-time finalist of the Jeunesses Musicales competitions held in Bucharest (2002) and in Belgrade (2012).

Besides numerous performances in renowned concert venues in Belgrade, Mihailo Samoran also performed as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of the Faculty of

Music in Belgrade, the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defense Stanislav Binički, the Camerata Serbica Orchestra and with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra. As a chamber musician, he continuously performs with the ensemble Balkan Chamber Academy. Starting from the season 2006/2007, Mihailo Samoran is a full time member of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra
