Katarina Milosevic

Katarina Milošević was born in Leskovac, Serbia, where she finished elementary and high music school ” Stanislav Binički”  with prof. Jelena Tričković. She obtained her bachelor degree with prof. Ljubiša Jovanović at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and  Master degree in Eastern Sarajevo at the Faculty of Arts with prof. Sanja Stijačić. During her studies she took part in numerous masterclasses with famous flautist and pedagogue Janos Balint. 

After completing studies in 2001. she started her career at the music school ” Petar Konjović” in Belgrade where she is engaged as flute Professor. From the very beginning Katarina is making outstanding results as a pedagogue. Pupils from her class are winners of numerous national and international flute competitions, both as  soloists and  chamber duo ensambles. They successfully perform in concerts and different festivals in Serbia and abroad.

Katarina is also devoted chamber musician herself. She regularly performs in different ensambles with her colleagues and with her brother pianist in all major concert venues in Belgrade – Kolarac hall, Belgrade City hall, Ethnographic Musuem etc.  Katarina serves as a jury member in many flute competitions in Serbia. In her school, she was voted 4 times the Best teacher of the year since 2016. and the most successful flute teacher at the competition “Mladi virtouz” in 2018.
