Igor Lazic

Igor Lazic was born on February 10th 1978 in Belgrade. Since 1988 till 1996 he was attending and he finished music school “Dr Vojislav Vuckovic” in Belgrade in class of Professor Zoran Mrdjenovic. 

Since 1996 till 2000 he studied on the Music Academy in Belgrade in the class of Professor Stjepan Rabuzin and finished as the first in the class. On 2000 he begins to study the after graduate studies and finishes it on 2005 in the class of the same professor. Since 2001 till 2006 he studies at Hoch Schule fuer Music in Trossingen, Germany in the class of Professor Francis Orval. On 2013 he finishes the PHD studies in the field of chamber music in the class of Professor Ljudmila Popovic.

Igor Lazic was a member of numerous symphonic orchestras. Since 1997 till 1999 he was a permanent member of Radio Symphony Orchestra Belgrade and from 1999 till 2011 he was the principal horn of Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra. On 2001 he joined the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra. Since 2010 he is the part time member of Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liege, Belgium. 

He is the member of the chamber music department of Belgrade Music Academy since 2003.

Since he was seventeen he performs as a soloist and chamber music player in the country and in abroad. From numerous concerts there are two to be mentioned, the concert with chamber orchestra “Dusan Skovran” with B.Briten’s Serenade on the program and the concert with Trossingen Music Academy Orchestra with R. Gliere horn concerto on the program.
