Greta Secerkadic – Ganovic, graduated from the Academy of Music, Piano Department, at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, where she acquired the title of Art specialist – pianist, in the class of prof. Jokut Mihailovic. 

During her studies, she performed at various music events, festivals, TV videos, competitions and concerts with excellent results. Her pedagogical work began in 1985. until today, where she works in Primary and Secondary music education as a piano teacher. So far, with her students, she won over a hundred awards in various competitions.

During the period from 1997. until 2007. She was also hired as an Expert associate at the Music Academy in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Compared to 1997. until 2001. operates in parallel at the Pedagogical Academy in Mostar, and from 2011. to 2015. She teaches at the Elementary Music School in Gorazde and Music School first and second degree in Mostar. From there, a large number of her students enrolled at the Music Academy.

In 2016. received award “Letter of thanks” for pedagogical achievements from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

She actively participates in the development of the Plan and Program at the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton, as a representative of secondary music education in the subjects of Piano, Chamber Music and Corepetion.

In the past 2018/2019, Profesor Secerkadic – Ganovic distinguished herself with the title “Teacher of the Year” for Secondary Music Education in Sarajevo Canton.

For many years, she has been a member of the Jury in numerous International Piano Competitions. 

With her students she achieves great results, victories and medals in our Region and Abroad.

During Pandemic years, under difficult working conditions of “Online Teaching”, she achieved remarkable success on the Domestic, Regional and International piano scene, which resulted in significant National and International recognition.
