Jure Gradisnik

Jure Gradišnik finished Music Academy in Ljubljana with professor Stanko Arnold. He continued his studies in Saltsburg with professor Hans Gansch. Among his numerous prizes from the domestic competitions, he also received Jamaha scholarship in 2003. He won the Prešern student award in 2005. For his performance of the H. Tomasi Concert. 

During his studies, in the period between 2003 and 2012, Gradišnik begame a member of the SNG orchestra of Opera and Ballet where he was also a solo trumpet player. He is currently a solo trumpet player of the RTV Slovenia symphonic orchestra.

Gradišnik also cooperates with other orchestras and various chamber ensembles, such as brass wind quintet, Serafim Trio, brass wind trio of the RTV Slovenia and with harp player Marija Gamboz Gradišnik. He also performed as a soloist with RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, Chamber String orchestra of Slovenia Philharmonic Orchestra, Slovenian Army Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra Oltenia, Maribor Orchestra, SNG Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Slovenian Chamber Orchestra, Oltenia Philharmonic Orchestra and Slovenian Philharmonic.  He performed with numerous renowned musicians (S. Arnold, R. Galliano, S. Mead, R. Tognetti…) and many conductors such as A. Nanut, U. Lajovic, M. Letonja, E. Shao, D. Rossberg, T. Hanus…
Since 2004 he has been teaching in ST. Stanislava Music School. In 2001 he became an Assistant Professor and in 2015 Assistant professor at Music Academy.
