Bojan Vukelic

Bojan Vukelić studied jazz and classical saxophone in Graz in the class of eminent professors Karlheinz Miklina, Heinrich Von Kalneina and Hannesa Kawrze. In the year 2005 he continued his studies in Keln in the class of Claudiusa Valka, and completed his master studies in 2006. For the Deutche Welle international broadcaster he recorded CD, together with Banda Balcanica ensemble (music inspired by Tchaikovsky). With his own quartet he performed at festivals in Serbia, Croatia, Austria and Germany, and as one of the soloists of HGM Jazz Oechestra Zagreb he played at IAJE festival in New York. Together with Eleni Papaspirou, eminent pianist from Greece, he performed in Serbia, Austria and Greece. After that tour he recorded CD with the Balkan Connection Band. Bojan Vukelic took part in the projects organized by Terazije Theatar and RTS Big Band. At the moment, he teaches saxophone at the Music School Kosta Manojlovic.
