He graduated from the National Academy of Music Prof. Pancho Vladigerov (Sofia) and later specializes in Paris. He teaches clarinet and woodwind instruments teaching methodology at the National Academy of Music (Sofia) and the National School of Music “Ljubomir Pipkov”. D.M.A. from 2007, Associate Professor from 2010 and full Professor from 2013. From 2014 he is regular visiting Professor at the department of music at the Skopje University. He has a diploma from The MINISTRY OF Education and science for special achievements in music. He is a jury member in Bulgarian and international competitions.

He has a lot of performances as leading clarinetist and took part in performances in France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Spain, Portugal, Greece and other countries. He is the founder of a clarinet quartet which performed in Bulgaria and Germany. He performs as soloist with The Sofia philharmonics, Bulgarian national radio philharmonics, “Sofia soloists” chamber music orchestra, “Simphonieta” and “Orcestral” orchestras. He has solo recitals in Sofia and around the country as well in Austria, Slovakia and other. He has recordings as soloist with chamber formations at the Bulgarina national TV and Radio. His repertoire includes musical works from all ages and styles.

He is the author of the books: “The Bulgarian clarinet school” (2007) and “The clarinet player’s way”. He compiled and published three collections (2012, 2013, 2016) of selected and analyzed etudes for clarinet by Prof. Dimitrov.
